interview with Squirtgun bassist Mass Giorgini.
12.15.03
- The House of Blues Chicago last night was a great time, and all the
bands put on a great show! Thanks to our friends in Amazing Transparent
Man, the Methadones, Break the Silence, and Split Habit for joining us
for the show! And a round of special thanks to all the Squirtgun
fans that we saw from out-of-town -- we know that many of you drove for
over 6 hours!
12.12.03
- The new volume of Forklift, Ohio is now available for sale. It
is a journal of poetry edited by Squirtgun's singer Matt Hart with his
friend Eric Appleby. This makes an awesome holiday gift! Pick one up today
here...
12.11.03 - MP3.com is now closed, so all of our MP3's will now be hosted
by PAHardcore.com. One neat feature of the site is that they allow
listeners to rate the songs, so be sure to give Squirtgun high scores!
The site allows both MP3 streaming and download, so you can choose what
works best for you. Here
is a direct link to our page.
12.09.03

for You" video guest stars Kris Roe of the Ataris, and was directed
by Jason Doty. For those of you in the Los Angeles area, the premiere
will be part of a music video competition being held in Hollywood at the
Egyptian Theater at 6712 Hollywood Blvd, and tickets are $12. An
internet streaming premiere will be coming soon, and details will be posted
here.
11.24.03
- We're back from tour...which went very well! Tickets are now available
for our upcoming headlining show at House
of Blues, Chicago with Amazing Transparent Man, Break The Silence,
and Split Habit. Advance tickets are $10 and can be purchased online here.
11.23.03
- Yesterday marked the last show of the current tour, and the first "hometown"
show for Squirtgun in five years. The mix of bands was eclectic,
and the crowd genuinely seemed to enjoy the mix. The show was a
benefit concert for the Latino Cultural Center of Purdue University, and
all profits are going directly to help the center continue its positive
work.
11.20.03
- Last night, Squirtgun played its first show of the current tour without
the Ataris. The show in Akron, OH at the Lime Spider was a lot of
fun, even if the crowd was considerably smaller than what we played for
during the first stretch of the tour! Even the fact that we suffered our
first equipment casualty of the tour (the bass amp blew) did not dampen
the enthusiasm of the audience or the band.
11.19.03
- The last Squirtgun/Ataris show was a blast! Kris Roe was in top
form, and we met a lot of new Squirtgun fans at the show. As a special
surprise, during the Ataris' encore, Squirtgun singer Matt Hart re-joined
his former bandmates from F.O.N. and Kris Roe of the Ataris for an unannounced
performance of the 1992 F.O.N. song "Lonely People."
11.18.03
- The Louisville show, scheduled for last night at Jillian's, was cancelled.
Kris Roe of the Ataris was still unable to sing due to a throat infection.
The promoter declined to offer the show without the headliner, so none
of the support acts were allowed to play. Regardless, things look
better for Kris today, so the show in Cincinnati at Bogart's is a go.
11.17.03
- Last night's show in Nashville went on despite the cancellation of the
headline band. Kris Roe, singer of the Ataris, was ill with a severe throat
infection, and was unable to perform. Many fans chose to stay for
the rest of the bands (Squirtgun, Planes Mistaken For Stars, and Hopes
Fall), and the show turned out to be a success despite the lack of the
Ataris.
11.09.03
- The show in Houghton, MI last night went very well! Thanks to
all who came out to see our first show with new drummer Mike Felumlee.
Check out the new poster for
our upcoming tour with the Ataris! It was designed by Guy Walshe
of Brisbane, Australia!
11.08.03
- We are on the road up to Houghton, MI for our first show with new drummer
Mike Felumlee (formerly of Alkaline Trio and the Smoking Popes).
We have a photo of the new line-up available here.
11.03.03

the "Burn For You" video. The video is in the final stages of
editing and should be released soon. We'll keep you posted.

and Reviews section for updates.

10.26.03
- We just had our first rehearsals with new drummer Mike Felumlee this
past weekend. The practice went very well, and we are looking forward
to our first show with the new lineup. Check out out our photos
of the rehearsal!
10.14.03
- Check out our Shows section and
Reviews section for updates.
10.1.03 - Mike
Felumlee, another legendary punk rock drummer, has come to the rescue!
Mike will be filling the drummer position in Squirtgun effective our next
show date. Mike is a very accomplished drummer, playing in the SMOKING
POPES, ALKALINE TRIO, and DUVALL, not to mention his own solo music career
as singer/songwriter. Mike played on all Smoking Popes releases,
and on both the album From Here to Infirmary and the "Hell
Yes" 7". He was also a founding member of DUVALL.
Mike runs his own label, DOUBLE-ZERO
Records, and recently released a solo album.
9.30.03 -
Dan Lumley has announced his intention to leave Squirtgun, and retire
from music. This is a decision that he has undertaken very seriously,
and only after much thought. Dan has certainly "paid his dues,"
and decidedly qualifies as a legendary punk drummer, having played in
not only Squirtgun, but also SCREECHING WEASEL, COMMON RIDER, the RIVERDALES,
the METHADONES, EVEN IN BLACKOUTS, the MOPES, RATTAIL GRENADIER, and even
doing guest stints with the LILLINGTONS, the QUEERS, the TEEN IDOLS, and
more. Dan is like a brother to us, and we wish him the best in anything
he does.
9.18.03 -
Big news! Squirtgun has just been invited as support band for a

photo of the band.
